Our client, a Canadian Corporation with operations all across North America is a leader in the logistics, transportation and warehousing is currently seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join their growing finance team. You have solid business acumen, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, the ability to work with senior and non-senior management. You are responsible for the financial planning and analysis requirements for the North American operations and will be reporting to the CFO


  • Analyze the financial performance of the business
  • Establish monthly financial forecast, budgetary goals,
  • Aid in business decision support and strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver value and support
  • Provide recommendations on profit, expense, and cost saving opportunities
  • Work with various department heads to ensure budgeted goals are met
  • Prepare annual plan in conjunction with input from all departments
  • Establish models that provide information on the Company’s current operating trends
  • Provide financial analysis for all any relevant issues that may have impact on any business. Activities
  • Create ad-hoc analysis and variance reporting
  • Support monthly/quarterly and annual reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop various financial models
  • Other duties as assigned by the Canadian President


  • CPA designation, CGA, CMA, CA, ACCA
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
  • Ability to work with managers across North America
  • Ability to create, run and interpret Financial Models
  • Strong understanding of managerial and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no direct management
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
